  11.                   Yet another handy utility from Bruce Steers

  15.     This is an Arexx script i wrote to Clean up the .backdrop file of a disk
  16.  
  17.       '.backdrop' holds the info for icons to 'Leave Out' on the workbench
  18.  
  19.          it seems you can have many obsolete paths still in this file.
  20.  
  21.         reasons for this could be you manualy deleted a 'left out' file
  22.        or maybe the .backdrop file is an old file Restored from a backUp
  23.  
  24.  
  25.         whatever the reason this GUI will show all files that are listed
  26.             in a .backdrop file and if any paths are missing an icon
  27.  
  28.          (this will cause file to NOT be left out and is thus Obsolete)

  33.                                      Usage:

  36.              To start..  Simply Double Click the Fix.backdrop Icon
  37.  
  38.                         you must have AWNPipe installed
  39.  
  40.   If you do not have AWNPipe then get the latest archive from the support site
  41.                        http://web.ukonline.co.uk/awnpipe/

  44.    Fix.backdrop gets a list of devices and finds which ones have .backdrop's
  45.  
  46.                Disks that are either 'missing a .backdrop' or are
  47.                       'Write Protected' will not be listed
  48.  
  49.     below the main ListView is a Chooser Gadget with 'Information' displayed
  50.                        Use this gadget to select a device
  51.  
  52.        once the .backdrop file is checked , if any Paths are Obsolete the
  53.                    'Fix .backdrop' Gadget Becomes un-disabled

  56.            Simply Click the 'Fix .backdrop' Gadget to renew the file
